Privacy policy
Last updated 11 October 2026
This policy explains what information the Watson’s Media content hub (hub.watsonsmedia.com, “the hub”) collects, why, who it is shared with, and what you can ask us to do with it. The hub is run by Watson’s Media (“we”, “us”), based in New York, United States. Questions go to contact@watsonsmedia.com.
The hub is a business tool. It is used by the companies we create social media content for, and by the people at those companies they invite. Where we handle information on a client company’s behalf, that company decides why it is used and we act on its instructions.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, and the name, profile picture link and job title you or your Google account give us. If you sign in with a password, it is stored only as a secure hash.
- What you do in the hub: approvals, change requests, comments, edits to post text, ideas, and anything you upload (files, voice notes, links, written answers). We record who did each of these and when.
- Questions you ask: if you use Ask, we keep the question and the answer so we can show you the conversation and keep costs in check.
- Sign-in and access records: when you last signed in, when you were invited, and any change to who can see a company’s hub.
- Social media figures: for the accounts we manage, follower counts, reach, engagement and audience breakdowns (such as industry or seniority), provided in aggregate by the platforms.
- Public information about other people: the public name, headline and profile link of people who react to a client’s posts, and public posts by other companies in the client’s market. We use these to report on what is working. Anyone who would rather not appear can ask us to remove them.
Cookies
The hub uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in, plus a setting on your own device that remembers light or dark mode. There are no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.
How we use it
- To run the hub: show you your posts, take your approvals and publish what you approve.
- To report on how your content is doing.
- To answer your questions and support you.
- To keep the hub secure: control who can see what, and keep a record of access.
We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run the hub. Each only receives what its job needs.
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage (United States).
- Vercel: hosting of the hub itself (United States).
- Google: sign-in, if you choose Continue with Google.
- Metricool: scheduling approved posts and collecting their figures.
- Anthropic: writes the answers in Ask. It receives your question and the relevant parts of your hub, under terms that do not allow it to train on them.
- Apify: collects public posts from other companies for market reports.
- Discord: our own internal alerts. It receives your name and the type of action (for example “approved a post”), never what you wrote or uploaded.
- GitHub: our code and backups.
- The social platforms (such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Threads): a post goes to them only once it has been approved.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Information is stored in the United States. If you are in the UK or the European Union, our providers transfer it under the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your company uses the hub. When our work for a company ends, or when you ask, we delete or return its information within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something longer.
Health information
The hub is for marketing content. It is not designed to hold patient or other health information, and you should not upload, type or record any. If something like that is sent to us by mistake, tell us and we will delete it.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each company can only see its own hub, and people who are invited as viewers can read but not change anything. Every change to who has access is recorded.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Email contact@watsonsmedia.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the UK or the European Union you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children
The hub is for people at work and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell clients about any change that matters.
